Etihad Guest

Etihad Guest accepts transfers from four major U.S. flexible currency programs: Amex Membership Rewards, Capital One Venture, Citi ThankYou, and Bilt — but notably not Chase Ultimate Rewards. Etihad is best known for "The Residence" — the world's only three-room private suite in the sky, available on select A380 routes — bookable with miles. For most travelers, the sweet spot is Etihad's own Business Class (The Business) and partner redemptions, especially to the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.

The Platinum Card® from American Express

Amex MR transfers 1:1 to Etihad Guest. 5× on flights booked directly with airlines + with Amex Travel. The 80,000–100,000-point welcome offer is a strong start for a Business Class redemption.

Best Practical Redemptions: While The Residence grabs headlines at 615K miles, the best everyday value is Etihad Business Class to Abu Dhabi or beyond, plus partner awards to destinations Etihad doesn't fly via Air Canada, Singapore Airlines, and Air France/KLM. Dynamic pricing means booking early — rates can increase near departure.
